My Dedication

They always say that everyone has someone in their life that loves them unconditionally, that believes in them when they might not always believe in themselves. That person for me was my mother. Besides being a better cook than I ever could be, my mom always saw the glimmer of light in a room of complete darkness. She always saw the potential of good in everyone, no matter what they may have done previously with their life. From flag football games at Centinela Park, to helping me hone my skills in the kitchen as an eager student, to helping serve on the buffet lines when I needed help, my mother was always there for us. She loved her family unconditionally.

It is with these memories that my heart aches every morning I wake up, knowing that she is no longer with us. I often sit and wonder what if I had done this or what if I had done that. However, no matter what I might have done, one thing stayed constant – she loved us…
